Chaves will go back two thousand years with a free party inspired by the Roman Empire(Chaves vai recuar dois mil anos com uma festa gratuita inspirada no Império Romano)

For three days, Chaves will be the stage for a journey through two thousand years of history. The region, in the district of Vila Real, will return to the Galician-Roman era, between the 14th and 16th of August, with the Festa dos Povos, an initiative that celebrates the history of the ancient Aquae Flaviae, as it was in the past.
